Games have a way of building some skill and “Go Crazy and Freeze” is no different. This game is for pups who have trouble asking politely to play and instead find that hanging off your clothing is a grand way of getting attention!

The setup is easy: just you and your dog. You are only going to play for 5-10 second spurts. This is the “go crazy” stage. Roughhouse a bit, play tug, be silly! When time is up, stand, fold arms and “freeze.” Wait for the dog to settle down. If you feel teeth on your skin, it’s an automatic “freeze.” Trained dogs will offer a sit or down. Untrained dogs may just stand and look. Know what your dog is capable of and look for it. As soon as the dog does it, YAY, immediately start the play up again

This can work too for puppies who are needing to nibble and bite.

Penny is past this point but I thought it was good info for the future.
